About Letterpress Finesse

Letterpress Finesse began with the purchase of a tiny hot stamping press at a Tucson swap meet for $40 in 1997. In 1999, the home-based letterpress business belonging to Bill Leya was purchased. As other Arizona letterpress printers retired or sold off equipment, Letterpress Finesse grew. Today, we are unique in the Tucson area. We have a large trade clientele for whom we do numbering, perforating, die cutting, imprinting and more. But we also welcome work from individuals who need a photo album personalized or who want a great deal on truly extraordinary wedding invitations. We know how to do things the old school way, but we also embrace the sensibilities of a new generation for whom letterpress has taken on a whole new look.

Letterpress Finesse is located just south of the intersection of Prince and Romero in the Flowing Wells neighborhood of Tucson, 1 mile east of I-10. Regular hours are 9-5 M-F. Appointments outside these times can be arranged. Come take a look at the collection of printed pieces and letterpress goodies in our reception area!

At this time, Letterpress Finesse has Kluge, Chandler & Price, Vandercook and Kwikprint presses in operation. We also have equipment and setups for specialties such as eyeleting and envelope conversion.
